Eating Habbit
Rite its not a problem just wanted to know if any one knows maybe why he does it.
Since Ty was a little pup when he eats he never eats at his bowl he will fill his moth and run from the bowl and make a little pile on the floor and thats the way he eats every meal. As I said its not a problem we have laminate floor so its ok just wonderd if anyone knew why he does this?
While I am asking questions mite as well ask another not the same topic but here goes.
When I cross my legs on the couch Ty cocks his back leg over my foot that is off the ground so my foot is under his body and if I move it he pulls at my sock or chases my foot untill I put it back were it was and we are back to the begining were he cocks his leg over again lol any ideas why he does this or what he is trying to do?
Thanks You

I don't have experience of the second issue, but the first Molly does the exact same, we feed her chunks of Ox heart and she carries them from her bowl into he living room (A cream carpet as well)

Re: Eating Habbit
With the food I'd say its habit from litter mates rather than all be around the bowl take aload in his mouth to his own corner away from others its pretty natural especially if there are other dogs around or animals, kinda submissive as in i'm not hogging all the food guys. Cocking the leg part Taz done the exactly the same thing but his approach and play was quite dominant so i put a stop to it, my sis always joked around saying he was asking for a play of a different kind if i moved my foot etc.

I think it's probably habit. As Claire says, it might have started when he was still with his siblings & he didn't want to share his food.
The leg thing I think is just his way of playing. He keeps your foot still so he can grab it!

Na, it's not that good, she's not doing it as much now, thankfully.
She would never do it when she had normal wet food, but as soon as we started feeding her ox heart she started it. And liver or kidney she does it too, so basically, anything that'll ruin the carpet >.<

Re: Eating Habbit
I think the first one is a natural instinct, when a animal is killed the most dominant eat first and so on. Its natural to them if they go to the kill to take some what they can carry somewere away from the main food source were there is less tension to eat without the food being stolen or needing to fight as others approach to feed.
My 2 do this with the feet and ive always thought it was a sign of offection and not lovin if you no what I mean
