Not eating Empty Not eating

Post by Rhona Sun Mar 15 2015, 15:44

Last night Tyler didn't eat his dinner; we thought it was because he had too many treats. This morning he was sick a few times, but when we took him out for a walk he seemed quite happy. He hasn't eaten anything today nor has he had anything to drink, but seems ok in himself. Just wondering how long I should leave it before I start worrying?

Firstly is he drinking ?.. If he is then leave him for 24 hrs and then feed him cooked & cooled chicken breast and rice and see how he goes.

It is very important that he is drinking though.

I agree with Ian. Fluids are more important than food. If he's not drinking try giving him an ice cube. I'd give him one every couple of hours or so.
