We were advised by the guy at the pet shop that raw coconut oil from holland & barrett is excellent for a dogs coat. I don't fancy adding it to her food all the time so have decided to use it directly on her coat, especially where her fur is thinning. I'm just wondering if this is ok to do daily? I've heard coconut oil is like a wonder treatment for dogs and cats fur. Really? Even when the thin patches have grown back I would still like to use it daily as it sure does make her coat shine and it's infinitely better smelling than wet dog haha Would I be ok to use it daily (massaged into the coat all over)? It won't damage her over time or anything will it?

This is the exact stuff Big Grin
