Is this normal
following an op at the Vet. As some of you know Pixee had one of her Canines out on Tuesday, and well Tuesday morning was the last time she did a number 2. She has got a windy bum at the moment. Took her for a nice little gentle walk yesterdeay afternoon, which Pixee enjoyed very much, it kind of woke her up ever more. She had another little one around 5.30 last night. Again this morning at 9ish, and no poo yet. She is eating normal.

Did you have to not feed her for a period of time before the op? If so it's probally just taking some time for digestion to run it's course

Re: Is this normal
Yes I had to stop feeding her monday from 8pm. So no breakfast on Tuesday morning. She did have bland chicken and rice tuesday night time after her op. And wed morning. Back on her own food last night and this morning.
What you say does make sense. Its just her very windy smelling bum

I wouldn't worry, like jstaff says it could just be taking time to work its way through. You could try giving her some offal to speed things up a bit!

Re: Is this normal
If she is taking antibiotics or painkillers they can sometimes have this effect, wouldn't worry too much right now.

Yes she is taking antibiotics, however I am happy to say she did a poo a hour ago ever though it was very soft
Shes still finding it hard to play with her toys bless her.
