Re: car sickness
Car sickness thing, I made sure she hadn't been fed a couple of hours beffore the journey and then just start with small journeys around the block a daily build on them when you think Taras confidence is getting better. Its the motion so start small and build.
Pictures, open a photobucket account and copy the img code, have a look in tutorials theres plenty in there to help, and your avatar is set in your profile up top and just comes off the computer.

Re: car sickness
Hollie is the same age as Tara and she too was sick in the car today, she's ok just going on a 5 minute drive to the park, but today we were on the road for 20 mins and she was sick. I put her travel crate with a small plastic dog bed inside and one of her blankets in on the back seat, thought this would make her feel safe, but she was still sick

Re: car sickness
well i hate to tell u lot but it may not improve lol. Kaos has always been sick (violently) from a little pup and we have tryed everything. No food, short trips, distractions, sickness tablets, calming tablets.....i could go on and on.....
Nothing has helped which is really annoying as we just cant take him in the car now unless we absolutley have to as he's so bad and obviously feels ill for so long after the trip it just isnt fair on him.
But yea my advice would be build up short trips lots of toys etc, is she stressed sick or just car sick? Either way if shes not improving vets can give car sickness tablets and or calming tablets!
Good luck x

Re: car sickness
When Molly was about 2 and half months old, we drove 400 miles with her, with no problems what so ever, she slept in the footwell the entire time.
Now, she HAS to travel in the boot, else she shakes violently and is generally petrified, thankfully she doesn't throw up. But maybe try covering whatever she is travelling in in a blanket, to make it a bit darker.
We think Molly travels better in the boot because the darkness makes her feel a bit more safe.

Re: car sickness
I hope Bruiser grows out of it. When i picked him from the Breeder to bring him home it was a 20 min drive and he puked all over my lap!....... every visit to the vets or park he is sick more than once
The vet suggested sitting him in a car when the engine is off so he can get a feel for it...............NOT WORKING!
