Morpheus & Boadicea Update & Question
It's been 9 days now since we brought the little man home. From Boobie snapping to gentle play, I'm so proud of her! She's progressed a lot quicker than I imagined and he's certainly getting confident.. Too confident aha.
He's been growling quite a lot when play time get's intense with Boo, we then call her away and if he carries on we tell him no, then he growls at us. The vet said never to point a finger as it's a good target to continue playing with (my OH learnt this one the hard way) so when he growls we pick him up until he calms down and stops protesting. Is this a good idea or something else we could try?
Few pics to share

If I ignore him he carries on bullying Boo or for example, went to his first puppy social last night at my vets, and a pug kept annoying him so he started growling and such at her, the only way to get him away was picking him up. He does shut up after a few seconds and calms down, but I didn't want to seem like he's being rewarded. Then again.. He's not a great fan of being picked up so it's not a treat for him He gets taken away from whatever/whoever he's playing with.

Thank you I can't stop taking pictures, got the new S3 on Friday too, so it's playing with a new phone with an AWESOME camera, HD videos etc and obviously making memories for pup pup. Going to get the professional camera out soon and do a shoot me thinks! Boo was hard enough but at least I could get her attention easily..

i would stop picking him up when he does the growling, may be a better idea to turn your back on him or even take him to another room to cool off a bit.

Re: Morpheus & Boadicea Update & Question
I'll give it a shot! I mean he does have a pen which is around his crate, I could put him back in there as he knows that's his calm area where he sleeps??

Great looking pics. When he starts growling or gets out of hand just place him in a safe area until he is calm and quiet. If he is on lead you can walk him a bit away and have him sit and wait a bit.
