Is he too young?!?

Hellooo again ive just given vinnie a raw chicken leg...... and now i feel a bit cautious that hes too young? hes 14 wks. so i know not to do it again if hes too young.. thankies

I'm not an expert on feeding raw but there are plenty of other on here that are. However, I don't see an issue at starting at that age

See i'm a worry wart and panic about a pup not chewing and just swallow the dam thing whole, so i place the chicken leg or wing into a bag and smash it a few times to break the bone into smaller pieces before offering it to a pup.

Hard to say without watching. Dogs don't chew for easy digestion, they chew until it fits the whole. The stomach acids break up the food. How long does he chew it before gulping it down?

Yeah might try that Denise He does chew i can hear him crunching but sometimes not enough so he like coughs and it comes back up and then he chews properly .. he seemed fine eating it though just eats really fast always has since weve had him he scoffs his d inner down in about two minutes anyone would think we didnt feed him and we do.. 4 times a day! lol x

As denise suggested break it up a little so he can't wolf it down as much
