OCD Staffy
My Flo is getting worse!!!
Today on our walk back from her small park we crossed the road directly, now sometimes we walk alongside the park and cross over where there is a big red post box so Flo isn't happy... She wanted to cross the road so that we could get to the post box and then cross again even dropping her Stix in the middle of the road because we were going the wrong way
We were nearly home walking along the main road and Flo has to walk next to the garden walls or actually into their driveways. She's not scared of traffic, it's just what she's always done but today there was a big group of people all walking by the walls... OMG Mini Flo meltdown she pulled against me, stood rock still and gave me the filthiest looks as if it was my fault
Does anyone else suffer this sort of thing ?

Re: OCD Staffy
No Ian, Katy just tries to kill us both We can be walking along roadside & all of a sudden she will lunge to cross the road I have to be ready for it! I can make her sit, but after 'A' car has passed she tries again to cross no road sense at all!!! Last week she had me flat on my back roadside as someone went to put something in their bin (I didn't see) took my legs out when she spooked

Re: OCD Staffy
My Dodge has certain places where we must cross too and if I try to cross elsewhere he tries to pull me to the usual spot. He doesn't like to go off of our usual routes either, he looks at me as if I've gone mad if I go the "wrong" way and will just sit until I convince him that I know where I'm going!

Re: OCD Staffy
Buddy is only OCD about where he poops.. if we walk a different way on his walk he will hold himself until we get near his usual place and I have to take him over to do his bit- so now I just walk the same route every morning until he has been and then he is happy ..odd dogs aren't they

Same for one so young !
Evie is 4 months old and already set in her ways about our route around the park. If I take the "wrong route" she looks puzzled and I'm sure she sighs and shrugs her little shoulders before going a different way! Such a funny little girl
