Growth ??
We noticed this growth/lump on one of inca's back feet about 4 wks ago but it never cause's her any grief or hurts her as she lets us touch it and doesn't pull her foot away when i check it...
The thing is i have noticed every now an then it will bleed but only when she's either had a made half hour with sky or bin jumpin through twigs an sticks to chase a rabbit or summit like that...
I really don't know what to make of it or what it could be (can dogs get things like warts, boils or corns ?)..
Av put some pics up of the growth/lump for you to check out but before you comment about it looking moist, i had just put a dab of Aloe Vera on it minutes before i took the pics...
So guys what do you think it is ? ..............

Re: Growth ??
Dont know what it is but it does look sore. It looks a bit like a wound that hasn't healed properly but only guessing ?. Would pop into the vets to be on the safe side.

Re: Growth ??
It looks like a Hystiocytoma which is a benign skin tumour.
Because of the area its appeared in its important its kept clean and dry, and stop your dog from licking at it. They normally just disappear on their own, but if it kept getting knocked and keeps bleeding then its a trip to the vet for either cream to help dry and clear it up or operated on and cut off.
My Phebee had one, and like you it scared the life out of me as i too had the dreaded C word floating around my head. Hers just disappeared after a month or more on its own

Re: Growth ??
Just seen this. I would also say benign tumour. They do often disappear, but it's in an awkward place - just where it's likely to get knocked.
I would personally get a vet's opinion as to whether it should be taken off or left.
