Feeding Tango
Hi my puppy eats burns puppy dry food, Was mixing it with a small amount of natures diet meat, However i can no longer get that because the pet store has closed down for 2 weeks. Is there any supermarket wet food that would be ok in a very small amount because he just leaves the dry food, He chooses to eat grass instead and other disgusting things
I know supermarket puppy food isn't good but i'm just thinking in a very small amount, Just to get him eating, He hasn't eaten his dog food since yesterday afternoon, Tried mixing with water, Dog gravy, Bisto gravy. Nothing works
But when he goes to my dads house he tries getting to his dogs dinner, (Webbox) He manged to get to it and wolfed what was left down

Re: Feeding Tango
Webbox is dire
Have you got a pets @ home nearby as the Wainwrights trays are pretty good? Or could you order online?
Burns has an awful lot of rice in it so I'm not surprised he turns his nose up at it TBH. Where do you get that from?
If you want to keep him on the Burns and you can't get anything better than supermarket stuff then I'd try adding a little bit of something like natural yoghurt, I wouldn't go with Bisto as it's full of salt.
ETA: Just noticed he didn't go for the gravy...How about a little tuna/salmon/sardines? (Although not an ideal permanent solution)

Re: Feeding Tango
Glad it went down well
You'd be better off with the dog food as Tuna given regularly isn't recommended due to the potential for heavy metal toxicity.
The Wainwrights trays are better than the cans so get those if you can

I pay £36 (I think it is) off the link Janey posted. It is the big bag and last just over a month feeding both dogs on it (LuLu eats half the amount Buster does).
