All White Staffy

Was thinking of buying one this week from a freind of the family, but I have heard an all white dog can have hearing problems,

Does anyone know anymore about this

Yes unfortunately they can have hearing problems and in some cases skin problems. You can have them tested though and it can be managed.

Here is some info on deaf ones, just in case.

They can have hearing problems, but not always. You can have their hearing tested, but the only sure way of testing whether they have full hearing in both ears is to Baer test them. However, there are very few vets that have the equipment to do this.

Having said that, living with a deaf dog isn't impossible as long as you're prepared to put in some time & effort with the training.

Bought her, 9 weeks old, a Kelstock Staffy from Northern Ireland.

My brother got an all white female called tiff, she was rescued and she had really bad mange, she was on meds and it has completely cleared up and she looks absolutely fab!
