Sticky icky eyes
Just wanted share info
My 2 have had sticky gungy eyes last week, I could see I was facing a huge vet bill to treat them both so i did a bit of research....
Optrex for infected eyes - is awesome stuff! Cleared my 2's prob up within about 2-3 days.
The ingredient in optrex infected eyes is just what the vet would give in drops/ointment for good ol conjunctivitis.
Usually I'd be straight to the vets but I guess after a while u learn to not be so panicy! And will try a safe recommended alternative.

Re: Sticky icky eyes
seems there can possibly be a problem with Golden Eye ointment Denise due to a change in its make up ?? I was just having a mooch about and found this info on a Labradoodle forum

Eyes, I would rather go to the vet. They so precious. Still if it has worked.

Re: Sticky icky eyes
Ofc eyes are precious, but I see nothing wrong with self medicating if u know a product is safe and the condition isn't obviously severe. Or for example, it's the weekend abd can't get to the vet for a day or two.
My 2 had sticky eyes but I've seen worse, within a cpl of days they were bk to normal.
