You could give goats milk occasionally but not all the time as it is fairly high in fat, you could give it as a treat buyt to be honest at 8 weeks your puppy will be fully weaned. Are you planning on feeding raw, tinned or kibble?

Stag bars are good for chewing and he/she will be doing lots of that when their teeth come through! Also you can give tinned sardines/pilchards as an occasional treat and a raw chicken wing every now and then.

What the best food is really depends on how your planning to feed you puppy as there are better and worse brands for tinned and dry.

Depends what you want to feed. If it's commercial dry food, then have a look through this...

You can also feed raw. If you want more info, let us know.

It's difficult deciding what to feed them, the vet recommended science plan to me and i topped it up with some wet trays of wainwrights which Rosco loves but i've changed to fish for dogs now, he still doesn't wolf it down though, i give him a few tins of sardines and tomato sauce per week, and eggs which he likes, he had sausage for brekky yesterday as we all had a sausage sarnie, can i still give the wet trays of wainwrights with the fish for dogs?
He loves fish for dogs treats, just ordered some more.
Good luck with your new puppy Big Grin

Yes, if you want. Do Fish4dogs do a wet?

They do a complimentary 'mouse' - http://www.fish4dogs.com/Categories/Dog-Shop/salmon-mousse-dog.aspx

To the OP: Do you want to feed wet or dry (if not raw) and what's your budget?

www.whichdogfood.co.uk is helpful for choosing commercial foods.

The salmon mousse from fish for dogs is really expensive, i'll get a few trays of wainwrights and see how he goes.
