Well there has been this huge grey cat roaming our yard every now and then for a while. I always chase it off because it is so huge it scares the chickens and with two new baby kittens i can't take the chance of it being near them - it is neutered but still.

Well today it was roaming about looking a bit funny and dad (who is the only person who can get near it) noticed that basically half of his whole back had been ripped off. Must have been a fox/dog or maybe a car i'm not sure but it looked sooo nasty.

Dad feels a bit special cause the cat likes him so he suggested we take it to the vets and hope its chipped and that it's owner comes forward!

Poor thing, it looked soo painful. Hope an owner does come forward though, otherwise itll be pts probably.

I don't like cats, but I'd have done the same thing. I hate to see any animal in pain.

Poor thing, I hope an owner comes forward.
