worried :(

my nans labrador has had a funny cough for a few days,its a bit like something is stuck in his throat and he wheezes when he coughs.Took him to the vets yesterday and they gave him antibiotics for a week.If it doesnt help then they think it might be his heart

Could it not be kennel cough?

Aww I hope the antibiotics work for him. If it is his heart would they not be able to give him medication for it?

i think there is medication for it. Always a worry when its heart related though

It does sound like it's his heart. But even if it is, he can be given meds if it isn't too bad.
