proud of our council estate!
we've just had a young lady round our house working on behalf of battersea dogs home(she had all proof of identification),she was asking for donations for the home.she made such a fuss of sasha and being a big softy we sighed up,she could'nt believe how generous every one on the estate had been and how many lovely staffies she had met.this estate in the 80's was really rough but alot of work was put in to it and its a lovely place to live,we have fields and woods just minutes down the road, feel well chuffed that every one gave so generously

Good on yer !!! Nice to have something to take away the council estate mentality . I grew up on one and it was a great community , unfortunately for me now mine was taken over by scumbags and as I found out when my father died they were all his mates, grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Very pleased to hear that you live in a caring community. It must be lovely to be proud of your neighbours
I dont think they would get the same response, sadly, from everyone around here. This is an awful place to live and I hate it.
I hate towns though, I am a country person and definatly not a townie.

Not even joking but i couldn't live in a town or even a semi-detatched. I get claustrophobic and i HATE when i can hear the neighbours couch or fart, it makes me feel like him invaded haah
