is shouting at my puppy bad
hi my 13 week old staffy keeps chasing my cats two of them are getting old and keeps going for my jack russel that keeps growling at her as hes not liking being dived on i feel like im always having to shout at her to get her to listen when i say no she just carrys on any advice thanks

When she does something naughty, just give a firm no and them remove her from the room, perhaps to your kitchen and give her five minutes to calm down.
Do this every time and it will start to pay off! Just takes lots of patience and consistency!!

This is the best way. If you shout, you will pass on your anxiety to your dog & actually make it worse. Try to stay calm & remove the dog from the situation.

Yes, a firm deep voice is more effective than shouting!

I have used a bottle with rocks in it to correct some dangerous behaviour of Suki's. When she does it I shake the bottle which startles her and causes her to stop and look at me
