collar rubbing
on our dog alfie, the collar has rubbed his fur on his chest, and made it sore, we tried a harness but he pulls so much, what do you think we should do

Re: collar rubbing
No collar or harness will stop a dog pulling, only training will do that!
Please read the replies to your other thread for hints on how to control this.

Re: collar rubbing
Caryll is right, you need to train your dog not pull.
Could you use a headcollar or a 'non pull' harness for the time being whilst you're training him to walk to heel?
