What's in the bowl today! (graphic photos - raw)
First topic message reminder :
Right i've done this thread on another site, but the idea is to show photos, or tell others what the pooches had to eat today.
This is mainly for raw feeders, but anyone is welcome to add. It also helps new raw feeders get ideas for meals or to know what things look like
Some of these photos are new, some are from when Harv was a few months old
To be continued..........

Two or three wings should be about right. I don't feed kibble at all though, so I might well be wrong!

Re: What's in the bowl today! (graphic photos - raw)
I'm same as you now Caryll, I just feed a bit of this and a bit of that and if he is looking a bit fat then I just feed a little less than yesterday. If I was to guess I would say 2 would be plenty

Yes, Dempsey's back on his diet cause he's put on half a kilo-ish! I want him back down to 28 kilos.

Re: What's in the bowl today! (graphic photos - raw)
I'm putting my old girl on a slight diet aswell, trying to do it so no one notices a drastic difference
She's about 3-3.5kg overweight, her healthy weight was 20kg, she got weighed the other week at 23 or 23.5kg but I'm the on,y one who notices she's got a bit too much padding
Vet said her joints are starting to get sore and stuff so the extra weight isn't helping either!

I used to feed twice a day but now I just feed in the evening. I found with Blue being a fussy eater he eats better later on in the day. Maybe he feels he has worked for it, after his walks and tiring jobs of chasing sticks and shredding them into wood dust

Re: What's in the bowl today! (graphic photos - raw)
I feed just once a day late afternoon

10% of puppy weight, or 2-3% of expected adult weight. With Sierra being nearly 14 weeks I just give her 2-3% of her expected adult weight!

Its 10% of puppies weight not 10%of expected adult weight or you will be feeding upto 2kg a day to your pup

I'm fascinated with the idea of giving Loki a whole rabbit just to see if he'll know it's food, or just rag it around cos it's fluffy and fluffy = toys in his mind. Gross

The boys rag all their food first to 'kill' it then they eat it

Had a feeling it might of been. Was thinking of getting this for Blue instead of using chemicals. Where can I get it from and how often do you give it? is it fo 60 days? then do it again after 3 months?

I gave a teaspoon to all 3 dogs once a day for 2 weeks and then give it 2-3 times a week! I got 2kg of it from eBay, looks like it'll last about a year at least!

Re: What's in the bowl today! (graphic photos - raw)
Looks great. Same meal as Blue had yesterday but he had diced lamb instead of mince
Wish Blue would eat mince get more choice in mince. He will have chunks and even diced but mince he just refuses to eat.

Bailey refuses to eat most bone/chunks! He only ate half his breakfast, so it's bagged up and he'll get it for his dinner lol! It's getting ridiculous with his eating habits. If he doesn't eat, he doesn't get treats or anything until he does eat haha!

I think having more than 1 dog does seem to help their appetites
Wanna see blue turn into a hampster storing his stag bar, kong, treats, dinner when one of the cats walk in the room
