What's in the bowl today! (graphic photos - raw)
First topic message reminder :
Right i've done this thread on another site, but the idea is to show photos, or tell others what the pooches had to eat today.
This is mainly for raw feeders, but anyone is welcome to add. It also helps new raw feeders get ideas for meals or to know what things look like
Some of these photos are new, some are from when Harv was a few months old
To be continued..........

He's getting better, wolfs the mince down lol but he's still not too sure about the wings unless I'm holding them, going to start just letting him figure it out for himself though haha! Placing a new order with DAF for more proper bone bits, Lamb bones, lamb legs, tripe etc!kathytake2 wrote:It's OK Bailey looks very healthy to me, as do Harv & Chance, you must be doing something right
Thanks Kathy Cant wait to give him the same variety as Harv and Chance get !
Awww bless him it definitely gets more interesting once they are used to eating all sorts of different foods!

Re: What's in the bowl today! (graphic photos - raw)
so i noticed in one of your older post that u were feeding yoghurt,
I've given her yoghurt before when she had an upset tummy (coz all the vet does it give u pro-biotic)
Do u need to feed yoghurt on regular basis on raw diet?

I absolutely thought I would feel a bit squeamish at these pics, but it looks so utterly natural that I don't in the least. Still toying with the idea of a raw food diet for Dex, your boys look so good on it and they obviously love dinnertime!

For anyone interested this is what happens to cows legs once they've gone to the boys
This is also the bone in the leg which they are not allowed to eat, the bones in the foot are fine though

Here's Taz with her 1st Lamb leg from DAF .. she was extremely enthusiastic, and chomped away like it was an everyday meal. She ate it all, although she had slightly green hairy poo .. lol

Quick question, about feeding whole rabbit.
... Does it need to be skinned ? And do the dogs literally eat it all? Inc eyes, brain etc ? Just thinking bout brain bits on my floor and exploding eyeballs dripping out their mouth ?! Sorry but need to ask x

Re: What's in the bowl today! (graphic photos - raw)
It's about sourcing food from different places, like I order in bulk from DAF, I visit a hunter for my whole rabbit, I've made friends with my butcher for scraps and heads, and then I regularly visit the Chinese supermarket for bits

Diesel managed to choke on a chicken Wing today, she's had them before when she was 10wks....
Tank, first time with chicken wings. He crunched them up first, but no Diesel tried to swallow them whole ! Silly cow sicker them up twice before she decided it's best to crunch them up !

She eats like she's never been fed , literally inhales everything, and there was me worried how Tank would be with wings. I shoulda known older dosent necessarily mean wiser. !

yep fully frozen, half defrosted however you like.
Feeding frozen food is recommend for gulpers as it's ALOT harder to swallow frozen food
