Alpha Dogs in Finsbury Park - Thursdays?
hi - I want to take Jellybean to the Thursday Alpha Dogs session in Finsbury Park, but can't manage to reach them and forget what time it's at. Anyone know? There is enrollment at 10 am apparently, but we have already enrolled her so I'm not sure if there is a normal/non-enrollment session at another time on Thursday?
Help please

I rang them once, you go in the entrance near manor house tube station and there is a building near there and that's where they meet
Let me know how it goes cause they do one on Sunday's that I was thinking of going to

It's good to have her around other dogs and learn to behave with them, but their demeanor is a bit... smug? comes off a bit condescending like you're just doing it wrong and what a silly dog owner you are. maybe it's just me, but my husband kind of got the same impression. i will go back and finish the course and hope we pick up some good tips, they obviously know what they are doing and again, it's good to have her learning to be with other dogs and people. it didn't help that with any walking exercise she was just a total disaster - pulling, lying down and not moving... hopefully next time is better.
Oh and it's 10 am Thursdays and Sundays for initial enrollment session only, then the usual course work is 12:30 pm Thursday and Sunday.

Thanks for that, do you know if it only puppies
It is good to socialise but how awful that they make you feel like that, dont be embarresed about the pulling, lying down etc she is still very young, good luck for next time

it's all dogs, she and another puppy were the only puppies there. it's good because the more advanced dogs are really good examples to the puppies.
she really liked it and it's nice to make some puppy play date friends too ;-)
Lynne, I assume as you're in North London we live nearby? I'm in Upper Holloway, between Crouch End and Highgate. It would be nice to get some tips in general and on walkers and petsitters nearby, but I don't know if there is a private message function here? We have a good sitter already, but might need a back up.
