Hmm not sure , advice/opinions plz
Right, we have had Tank since Sunday he's just over 8 weeks old, he loves his crate and will wee and poop on paper.
He's eating well, he was weened onto purina beta which is basically * so I've already chucked that and had him on Wainwrights complete puppy food trays since we got him. I figured he was skinny and stressed already so the food change would only help, he was pretty beaten up by his litter mates and u could see his spine so I don't think he was eating well.
Anyway, so the food is going well and I can see fur growing bk already on him.
Night times is the main issue, he sleeps through till about 4am then he's bursting with energy and hungry.... He's ended up having an early breakfast then will cry when I put him bk in his crate .
My question is, is it ok for him to cry for ages? So long as he's ok?
I've today moved his crate to the lounge which is next to our bedroom so I'd still b able to keep an eye on him.
Other than that, he's quite nippy ! And is trying to suckle from my girl Diesel... She's got sore boobies with bite marks bless her.
Diesel is trying to mother him I think, she will stand right over him and hook her paw round him and pull him under her... I've been trying to stop her doing it but nit sure if I should or not ?
Sorry for the long post !

It's ok to let him cry, he'll soon stop when he realises he's not going to get attention & he's perfectly safe & comfortable!
I'd try to stop him suckling from Diesel cause she's going to end up getting really sore & could get an infection from the rawness of it. Mind you, if she does get too sore she will probably tell him off anyway!

Bella cried for the first few nights and it feels terrible just leaving her to cry but it didn't last long. She was a skinny wee thing and tried to suckle from Millie her first day here, surprised me that she done that but not as much as Millie, she leapt across the room. I think that might have been part of the reason she hid out in my room for days I hadn't realised that Bella was so thin until I saw the pics of other pups on here.

zeus cried for a full on week after we got him, at times it was unbearable, i felt like i was torturing him! but as the previous messages have stated, he soon realised that this was his cage time and that we would always come back for him.
he pee'd in his cage for the first few days but after that, he completely stopped and held his pee in all night at only 9 weeks old. be sure to always take him out of the cage at the same time every morning, my time is 7.30am and zeus is like an alarm clock waiting to go off! bang on 7.30am every morning, he starts howling as if hes saying "let me out, i need to pee!". routine is essential.

This will sound mean but let him cry. If you give him a fuss he will learn that if he whines long enough he will get what he wants which will encourage him to do it even more.
