Ripped up her bed
Came home to find this:
Don't know how much of it she's eaten but she seems ok at the moment.

Re: Ripped up her bed
Same, lexi always pulls hers out and leaves them at the door but she doesn't rip them. Shes weird, she would rather lie on just the carpet than a nice soft bed.

Re: Ripped up her bed
Thanx, she normally has a double duvet folded over to fit in her crate, but we can't leave the fastenings on the cover because she likes to munch those, obviously now she has discovered the stuffing inside the actual duvet!
Ain't got no old sofa cushions either !

Pleased its not just Tilly then Just got home made a big fuss after a week away , made her bed up for her under my desk , 5 mins later she's gone , look around and she's laid at top of the stairs just peering down at nothing , maybe got the hump with me for only 10 mins fuss

Re: Ripped up her bed
I gave up with nicy comfortable doggie beds! Dempsey ate every one we gave him. Literally!
I ended up buying a couple of ex German Army blankets which I fold & put in the bottom of the crate. Although he has chewed the edges, they are still intact after about a year or so.

So far Bella hasn't destroyed her bed. She brings it out of the crate and puts it on the couch to lie on

Re: Ripped up her bed
Dempsey's grandfather used to have his crate in his breeder's bedroom (spolit rotten!). He regularly used to pull his owner's double duvet through the bars of his crate & then heave himself on top of it!

Oh dear it looks just like Sophie's bed, she keeps destroying her beds.

Re: Ripped up her bed
Jess does this to her cushions and beds as well, we must be on the 5th or 6th one now in only 5months! I'm at a loss as to what else to give her as beds dont come cheap!

Re: Ripped up her bed
make her a bedding out of shredded paper. she won't eat it, if it gets soiled you change it, it's great insulation and it's cheap as its made up of old bank statements...
