why does my staffie gator walk good one way , but when we turn around to walk back towards home he pulls? is it because he knows were headed home and is excited to go there?

what kind of games do you find challenges Dempsey? I'm new to staffies but not dogs and his mind seems to work differently that's for sure.

They all realy seem to enjoy a good game of tug of war. We also hide treats in the house and have Suki search for them

i was told not to play tug of war since he nips and bites to play and if he gets skin he wont let go. its getting difficult he wont seem to get the idea that its bad.

There are people that believe tug of war is a bad idea or that you can't ever allow your dog to win. I think that as long as you are the one starting and deciding when to stop the game it is great exercise for them.

It is advisable to make sure they have a good leave it command as well.

Try some games that will challenge his mind, hide treats around the room, old cardboard boxes are great for putting treats in too so his has to look for them. Things kind of games will tire him out quicker than physical exercise.
