advice please

has any body got any advice to try and stop my 10 month old pup stop jumping at everyone ive tried everything!! hes beginning to knock people down i know he jus wants to say hello but its becoming a hand full. even when i walk him and hes off the lead hes jumping at me to try eat the lead. has any1 got any techniques to deal with this?

Turn around and ignore him when he does it in the house. Have him sit and wait before you intorduce people to him and expalin to them that he is in traiing and can jump. He is trying to get attention and if he gets the opposite reaction to his behaviour each and every time he will stop.

That's the best way, tbh.

Outside, carry treats with you, or a squeeky toy & if he tries to jump up, offer a treat or squeek the toy & say "off" or whatever word you're going to use.
