hi for some reason my staff still goes toilet in the kitchen where he sleeps during the night. hes trained but seems to think its ok to go here, when obviously its not. anyone have any ideas how i can stop this?? if i allow him to sleep in the living room he wont go no matter how long he is left there. but a few hours in the kitchen and if he needs to go he will if have tried sticking his nose in it then putting him in the garden but no luck any help greatly appreciated.

How old is he ??
Does he always go in the same place , maybe he has a scent of it ??
You can buy stuff from the pet shop to ensure the smell isn't there for them (they have extremely sensitive noses) and deter them from doing it in one place

how old is he, if he is still a puppy then at night getting a crate could be a good idea

Its not a great idea to stick his nose in it, this wont help matters at all.

Please don't do that! It won't do any good at all. By the time you tell your dog off it won't know why it's being told off anyway!

How are you cleaning up his accidents? What do you use?
