Toilet training Tip

Are you having trouble getting your puppy off the puppy pads and to wee and poo outside? Try sprinkling a little soil or grass on the puppy pad so the puppy smells and it and associates the smell with where he goes to toilet..

We tried a puppy pad with Dempsey. He picked it up and dragged it down the passage.

We never used them either , straight out to the garden cut out the middle bit

That was sort of our plan, only it took a while. He wasn't easy to toilet train.

No, he wasn't - he wasn't fully house trained till he was about 6 or 7 months old!

Oh, and he tried to eat the puppy pad!

Great tip Loki decided puppy pads were fun to wee on the edge of so it still went onto the floor, and/or destroy it

both mine did well on puppy pads and wish i had this tip. it makes perfect sence. the transition from the door to the garden was the hardest bit and i suspect this would have helped a good deal.
