Help Poor Bella has upset belly
Poor Bella had a tummy upset about a week ago and I fed her boiled chicken with rice for a few days after originally fasting her for 12 hours (water only). She then had pureed vegies added to mix and was fine. then we added mixed beef & roo mince (half). she has been normal with her bowel movements up until this morning... One normal then one explosion! She ate chicken, rice, vegies and chicken and roo mince for brekky followed by a few hours later with 3 spoons natural yoghurt... Cant see any reason why she has loose bowels again? help
Also she had a quarter of a banana... She is usually fed raw meats and has Pro Plan Puppy dry available 24 hours but doesnt eat that very often.

Sounds as if you are doing everything right. If it goes beyond a few days I always take a trip to the vet just to be safe

I would take out the roo, it's very rich actually. stick to chicken and rice for a bit. but honestly if she has a bad tummy eating that kinda food you might want to consider an allergy test.

Also, do not feed a dog dairy of any kind. They can't digest it. Banana....im not sure...but i don't like them at all so i won't have then around me. Eugh i hate bananaannananans.

I would cut down the mixture your feeding, mine has a very delicate tum and I have to stick with very bland food.
Hope she is feeling better. If you starve them you really need to do 24hrs to get it out of there system

Maybe cut down on the veggies a little bit as this may well give her a bit of a runny bum. Hope she is feeling better soon.

Re: Help Poor Bella has upset belly
Thanks for all the recommendations guys, Last night I gave her Boiled rice with chicken and pureed carrots, broccoli and cauliflower mixed with half her minced roo & Beef and back to normal poos late last night. Yah !!! Funny but I cant beleave how her having normal poos makes my day
Going to keep her off the yoghurt and mix a small amount of the rice and chicken mixture in with her raw everyday. She is supposed to be having a healthy powder mixture mixed in with her raw that her breeder recommended but at this stage with her Belly i'm Gonna give it a miss for a while. Does anyone else use the Healthy Powder?
