My poor poor feet
Had a lovely walk today but I have rubbed all the skin off the back of my heels One has even bled
I wore my reasonably new boots, thought they'd be OK as I'd had them on all day at the shows I've been to recently!! Obviously not broken in enough for hard core walking yet!!

I've got plenty of normal plasters, think I'll need them when I put shoes on!

Re: My poor poor feet
Do you wear woolly walking socks with em Saz ?? I used to have lots of problems like that making em a lot worse so I put a pair of sports socks on or as well depending on how cold it is , had my boots for 7 or 8 years now and they are super comfy but I need to get some waterproofing for them now as they are letting in just letting in from getting wet in the grass so feet soaking from a morning walk in the dewy grass

You can use a mix of rubbing alcohol and water (50/50) to spray onto the inside of your shoes where it rubs. It helps to break them in easier, especially if you put them on straight away and wear them around the house for a couple of hours at a time until the material softens.

Re: My poor poor feet
If you wear a pair of liner socks under your regular socks this should solve the problem.
