limping after been layed down why
hi all jakes is just over 6 months now and after he's been layed down for a bit he get's up and limps for about 5 mins after that he's ok dunt seem to av hurt is leg just started in last 2 days but he has had a lot of exercise in those 2 days .

He could have tweaked something. If he is better after 5 minutes I'd just let him rest for a day or two

just had him out for 3 mile walk no sign of a limp but if he limps after his nap lol will rest him for a couple of days thanks

you working him to hard he still a pup 3 mile walk is well to much for his joint i would stop that straight away or hes going bad joints

The thing is with Staffs they have such a high pain threshold that they won't always show you there in pain.
I would advise that you give him short walks and keep an eye on him, hopefully its just a strain but by over exersizing him it will get worse, he needs rest! Moo had one not so long back and I rested her for a week and she was fine, If it hasn't sorted itself out after that then a trip to the vets.
