Signs of first season? Empty Signs of first season?

Post by *Karen* Wed Feb 15 2012, 21:18

Mia is now 7 months, she's starting to sniff the carpet where she has been sitting or playing like a sniffer dog, noticing her licking herself a little but today she actually pooed in her crate while I was out (something she's not done for ages).

Could it be the onset of her first season? I havnt noticed any smell / discharge from her but just wonderin if its linked?

Could jus be the worming tablet she had Sunday tho?

It could be either, I'm afraid. I would have thought, though, that if she's still acting a bit strange tomorrow then she's probably coming into season.

Just keep an eye on her - if it's a season you'll soon notice a discharge (bloody at first) & her lady bits will swell.

I was going to say the same as Caryll, I mean the swelling was really obvious with Skye. It was like she had a pair of testicles strapped to her back end, wobbled when she walked and everything! lol
