Smell Empty Smell

Today ive noticed a really strong fragrance coming from clio, her coat stinks, its like a musty donkey smell, i bath her as and when she needs it and it was only 4 days ago since her last bath. shes never smelt like this befor and she hasnt rolled in anything whilst on walkies. it really smells bad like tom cat wee confused

I have to admit, I've no idea. I was going to sugest that she's rolled in something, but you say she hasn't.

Is she anxious about anything? Anxiety can cause a strong body odour with dogs.

dont think so, she seems ok. and its not because shes been playing with my socks either !!!!!!!!! Big Grin it is really bad though, might just bath her again and see

when you bath the dog do you change the bedding too.

it could be the dogs skin over producing natural oils to compensate for the cold weather

Her bedding doesnt smell, she sleeps on the end of my bed. ive not heard of that before, producing natural oils, is there anything i can do i know its not really good to keep bathing them but she wont be sleeping in my bed tonight smelling like that

like humans our hair gets greasy if unwashed, with dogs this oil is used to trap a warm layer of air between the coat and skin. you can get fragrant conditioners to help with the smell
