If only the kids had some real appreciation Julie. We had a great time yesterday , went to my Stepsons house for tea (which he cooked and very well Smile ) and after that we played board games ! do you remember them, it was in the day before everyone in the house had a laptop, a smartphone , and a netbook. I can really imagine some of the kids of five years ago lecturing their kids with "when I grew up we used to have to share a computer Smile "

When the OH 's Grandma died , the only thing we fought for from the house (as the greedy family were involved) was a set of dominoes (that we bough originally) and an old cobbled up domino board that Grandad had made, simply because we spent hours round there on Sundays playing a game of doms with Grandma, and if the OH and me little un weren't involved we could even do a couple of runs of 5's and 3's, now thats partying Big Grin
