First time left out of crate Empty First time left out of crate

So thought I would give Frosty a break from the crate. Went home at lunch and nothing too bad (he had chewed a leash I had left out). My bad. Left him out and the wife came home not 50 min later. Here is what she saw...

Hmm, where is the seat cushion?

Oh here it is!

rolling on the floor Just too funny to get angry with. However, I think he is going to go back in the crate for a while until he calms down a bit or if he has just had a really tiring excercise I may try then...lol. The family room couch cushions were all over. Guess he got a bit playful (at least he didn't rip them up!).

We went through this as well. Came home once to find an EZ chair turned over Laughing We just kept leaving her home for a little longer each time and not making a fuss before we went out. And of course a good deal of exercise before wee leave her. she is fine now .... for the most part

Oh my word. That looks so familiar. Did you come home and then leave him alone again? Were both boys in together?

Kaos found a way of unlocking his crate from the inside side door a while back and omg if i had come home 2 that i would of been happy!! We had skirting boards ripped off the walls door frames chewed within an inch of thier lives, wall paper ripped off the walls....Luckily the crate is in the hall and all the doors are always closed as Ty is confined to that space when we go out....... Are you sure it was Frosty and not the fairies??

Brought back memories of Jethro when he was younger..when I didn't know about crates...we would cringe as we opened the door wondering what he had shredded..ripped up..destroyed...this time ... Surprised

Exactly. I left them together as they were sound asleep when I left. Oops. Perhaps that wasn't so great. I had planned to seperate them but they were cuddled up so warm and snug. Lol

Probably went crazy in protest of being left alone again. Big Grin I think maybe you asked too much.

Probably did. I think smaller doses and not more than once per day is ideal for now. Gotta start smaller. I went too much too fast. Glad nobody got hurt over that mistake.
