Useful homemade doggy stuff
I have tried these and the liver cake was a particular hit. I made it for all the dogs at the park for Tyson's first birthday.
FRESH BREATH BISCUITS
Mix all ingredients togethr. Knead until well blended, using more wholewheat flour if needed. Roll out into 1.5cm thickness and cut into squares or whose cookie cutters to make shapes. Bake at 150 degree C for 60 - 90 minutes.
LIVER CAKE
Liquidise all ingrediants together. Place the mixture in a shallow baking tin and pop in the oven at 160 degrees C for 20-25 minutes. When cool, cut into pieces and store in the freezer. It keeps for a long time
FRESH BREATH BISCUITS
- 500ml rice flour
- 300ml chicken stock (fresh if possible)
- 1 extra large egg
- 60ml fresh parsley, chopped
- 250ml wholewheat flour

LIVER CAKE
- 1kg liver liquidised (I used a combo of sheep, calf and chicken)

I will definitely make some of these when the weather cools abit..the house is hot enough at the moment without putting the oven on too!
Like the sound of the first recipe.
