Have a scout around the forum there is plenty of advise there Smile

Also you may not have any problems with any of the above, so any specific questions when the time arises ask away!

As for names, he'll find his own imo! Xx

The best thing we bought was a crate it keeps the puppy and your possessions safe. It took us about 3 weeks for Billy to have his name before that he was called NO

That sounds very familar,

Start training as soon as you bring him home,

Crate training - we put Tyler in his crate every time he fell asleep, and closed the door,we also placed his toys and treats in there.Meg came crate trained.
Toilet training to pop him outside, every hour, after play, mealtimes, after waking up etc, when he goes outside, praise him and reward with a treat.
I used to take my crates upstairs at bedtime,so I could hear them when they woke up,used to pop them outside, keeping everything calm,no talking, eye contact nothing, then back to bed.Extended the time each night by about 5/10 mins till they went through the night.

Good luck with your boy exciting times ahead Smile

never used a crate myself but yes any questions at the time ask away we have all been there with that first pup and thought OMG its over whelming but once you all settle you'll be fine and the forum is here for anything you need to know or any help. but remember to put pictures on as soon as you can when you get him and at regular intervals or when you have any you want to show off.

Definitely get a crate, it's worth it just to know that they are safe anytime you aren't home because trust me they will play with everything and anything including wires and plug sockets!!

They grow to love their crates and treat them like their little personal bedrooms, so try not to use it as a punishment or time out area and a kong will keep them busy inside it!

It's good for toilet training too as they learn not to mess in their beds!!

So exctiting! You'll have to post loads of pics when you get them, we LOVE puppy pics!

I wouldn't worry too much about what to do yet - wait & see how it goes, you may not need any advice at all!

Exciting time for you. We used a crate as well. For toilet training take them out every hour, after they wake up and after eating. Praise them alot when they go and if they have an accident just clean it up to get rid of the smell.

The best tip I can give you is .. have patience ! It's a hard job, but god damn worth the blood sweat and tears into bringing him up and teaching him from right and wrong. Hope you enjoy your new best friend : )
