stiff legs
hello all i may have posted about this previously but would like some more advice plz.
Benson has very stiff legs / dead legs when he has been laid down for a while and is very reluctant to stand up properly this takes around 10 to 15 mins to wear off once he is outside he is fine and will run about ok we have had him at vets and been x rayed for hip dysplasia but was all ok was told maybe some tissue damage and was given liquid pain killer for a week which helped but can not keep him on it more than a week
as anyone else had this problem with there pets and is there anything i could give him which would help he is only 18 mths old and don't relay want to give him drugs at his age i am giving him cod liver oil 1 tee spoon a day but would like to know if they is anything else which would help
thanks all from ozzy and Benson.

Re: stiff legs
Have you thought of trying chondroitin? It's a joint supplement which can be used for both humans & animals...

You can buy it from any health food shop or online pet site.

Re: stiff legs
What kind of surface does he lie on?
You may want to try giving the legs a gentle rub first thing when he gets up just to relieve the aches a bit.
