Roo, shocked us she was not fussed at all Surprised when we went into the back yard she shot past us and just stood there looking about wagging her tail Surprised but that aside we fetched her back in, and she laid in the front room all night and did,nt flinch, we were really really shocked to say the least i thought she would of been shaking and hidden up in our room, hope every one elses dogs have not been too scared, it will be the same tomorrow and sunday for bonfires and fireworks hope all other doggies are ok Smile

Why and who using fireworks there? Is it legal to use rockets and stuff enytime?

In my country U can use fireworks only in new year evening 6 pm to 2 am and it´s in the Law.
If U need to use fireworks in some big partys, u need special permissoin.

I´ve got Toro 2 years now and new years has gone nice do far. Dog have sleeped or played that time when they use fireworks.
Still I always tens new year a littlebit Smile I don´t leave those staffys alone.

Well. yes & no. You can use them, but only between certain times & not to excess. Not that anyone takes any notice of that. Sad

fire works are banned here in Ireland and if you're caught with em you get a big fine and could be sent to prison, but thats not much of a deterrent for people still drive up north to buy em, and bring em down here, the place is awash with em on Halloween and news years eve

Blue was also very good with the fireworks. Was out walking before and they were going off all around us and he was happy running up and down the field like a mad man playing

Bloody fireworks were waking my kids up last night and making them cry cos they were so loud and sounded like they were right in our back garden - my kids bedrooms are at the back. Some people have got no sense and not bothered about the elderly, kids or pets. They should be made to stop letting them off by 9. Does my bloody head in and it'll annoy me even more at new year when they do it cos I'll have Charlie to worry about too.
