feel like having a rant

hey well you all know ive got two staffys blade and zena well me and the g.f have lived in our home for 4 month now and the landlord has gave us two months notice to move or get rid of the dogs because some other dogs has pooed in a garden and been barking so guess what it the staffys as always well his wrong because my dogs go out and get there poo picked up so me and the g,f will be homeless in two month if we cant find anywhere theres no WAY I WILL GET RID OF MY DOGS. iam so bloody mad how can people just say well get rid of them they are part of the family. ive been trying to find out whos told the landlord best thing is that there is 3 other dogs on this street but no it must be the staffys !!!!!

there will be out ther who will allow dogs you may look at other areas & get your name on the council homing list

Ask your landlord for a section 21 which is a court order requiring you to vacate the property in 8 weeks make a few copies of it and hand it in and sign up with as many housing associations as possible when they see this document they will realise your are a prority, thats what i had to do, If you go private as well there are loans and grants that can help you pay first months rent and bond etc.
If your on benifits or job seekers there is even more help, don't be afraid to be cheeky and ask for everything you are intitled too, there are websites from your local housing aurtorities and they should say what you are intitled to claim for. Your better off going for a council home etc as they do not seem to have any problem with having dogs its usually the private landlords that do.If you get ahold of citizen advice they might be a great help and will let you know whether your landlord is in the wrong or not. he has no way to prove it was your dogs making the mess or noise, get some statements from your neighbours if you can.

Sorry to hear you are having problems with your landlord. It took us a long long time to find a place that allows dogs. Our landlord lives next door and really loves Suki so we were lucky.

Poor you, that must have come as quite a shock! Did the landlord know you had the dogs there before? Could you not try discussing it? You will find somewhere for you all. Big hugs to you all Xx

Thats really not good, especially when it's hard enough finding a place that allows dogs aswell, hope you find somewhere soon

You'll never get housed on the council list in 8 weeks! Try about 2/3 years ish!

Ooo thats not good me and my fella got evicted last August because we had the dog I have moved in with my mum with Ty and have been looking for a place ever since most say no dogs and some say yes to pets but only caged or tank its rediculous. I really do hope you have more luck than me with finding somewere fingers crossed for you xx
