How long did it take to train them!

When people meet me and my dogs or even just my dogs, straight away it's
"ohhh wow they are so well behaved..how long did it take to train them?? As i'm thinking of getting a dog"
Me "5-6 years"
Them "omg..how old are they"
Me "5 and 6 years"
Them "Oh"
Yeah to get well behaved dogs your looking at a daily exercise for both you and your dog, not just a few months.
then you expect them to remember it for life...you have to rehears and practice these behaviours and cues daily.

They look so shocked....

Train.....never heard of it   my dogs not very well trained. She is too stupid. She will go out, go to bed and go to her pen. Thats about the extent.

i always do mias every 2 days mental stimulation etc she loves it i agree with everyday is a training day philosophy i swear by it.

I've honestly never had behaviour issues of either one of my dogs (i have three staffy cross) they have never argued, never gone for each, never even sniffed at each others treats or food bowls, they simply love each other, always sleep together no matter what, they are a lovely stabilized little pack, and they are all related.

Everyone is training their dogs all the time, it's just that you don't realise it...
