Vaccinations Empty Vaccinations

Post by Bane Tue Oct 07 2014, 21:57

We were recently applying to dog training courses and in the questionnaire it asked about Vaccinations.

I know that they need to have up to date vaccinations for kennels etc. but was just wondering if the same applies to training classes, agility and other things like that? Has anyone had this checked before starting a training class?

mmm not sure emma, but i can understand why they would want them to have had all their vacs,if one dog was'nt and caught some thing it could easy spread it to the others it was mixing with, just them being careful i guess.

I'm pretty sure that most do - but you will need to check with the individual place.

I cannot remember being asked about this when Rocky went to training classes but it would make good sense to.

We got asked and actually had to produce the vet card; you could think it was a sign of a responsible trainer

Yeah I was thinking that they would probably ask to see the card if we were accepted onto the course! I think Bane is coming around to a top up so we best get it sorted!

Thanks Smile And yes must be! I didn't think they needed things like that just for a training class but makes sense!

Yeh we signed up to a obedience class last month and had to produce vet card as proof, I think this would be a standard rule.

Cheers
