missing my little one

I have only been at work 2 hours but I have let my OH take my Nellie to her place as I am going up there for a couple of days after I finish work later. It's a trial run for next weekend when I have to attend a very formal 25th wedding anniversary party for my older brother in Wales and can't take nel with me as his family and his wife's family are scared of Staffys (due I might add to all the negative press on them not from any personal experiences with the breed) so my OH has suggested she dog sit Nellie for the weekend. Nel has been to my partners house many times and likes staying there had her own crate for a bed play havoc with her 2 cats but I feel guilty about not being with her myself am I a bad dad or as my partner says just a worrier?

No not at all we are all the same Jay, all normal hope you have a lovely time do try and enjoy it sure Nel will be fine she wont worry believe me!

Quick up date nel was fine all day yesterday with out me. I got the cold shoulder treatment for about 2 hours when I first got to my partners place but after that she was back to being daddy's girl again.

I am more relaxed now about next week think she will be just fine with my partner and I can go celebrate my brothers anniversary without worrying every 2 mins

I'm sure Nel will be perfectly happy with your OH for the weekend, the only thing I would be worried about is her not wanting to give Nell back to you after a weekend of snuggles on the sofa

Nel will be fine, just expect a nice welcome home swiftley followed by a "how dare you" look and a big sulk. get it myself with two sets of big brown eyes burning into me. they sure know how to play us   thing is they are daft and forget it all for a tangley twist lol
