Escaped Tick Empty Escaped Tick

Post by Lizzie Wed May 21 2014, 15:43

Spotted a tick on Harry's neck this afternoon when we were having a cuddle.  It was very small so I
assume he hasn't had it long.  Got the little tool to remove it and waited until Harry was relaxed and
sunbathing in front of the patio door.  Managed to get the little blighter but Harry must have felt it
come out and jumped up knocking my hand and the bl**dy tick disappeared  Crying or Very sad

Now I don't know whether I got the whole lot of it, and where it is, so I have vacuumed the carpet and
just have to hope that it won't re attach itself to either of us   Surprised  sick

Presumably it can't survive unless it attaches to a host to get blood sucking.  Off to have a shower
and wash my hair Sad

Hopefully you got all of it and squished it enough to relinquish life.

Nope - Its still on the run  Laughing

Checked Harry several times and no sign of it, just hoping it went
up the dyson.  It was so small, think I found in on Harry before it
had chance to feed  sick

Watch out for the long grass everybody, especially if your dogs
are eating grass at the moment.
