Just been looking at camping sites in the north of wales to have a long weekend away soon. Looking for pet friendly ones, found a lovely one, not too far away which means not much travelling, its pet friendly as long as your dog isn't a Staff, Rottweiler, Pitbull and Mastiff.

So so angry, either allow dogs or don't, make sure that you say friendly, calm, good dogs if you want but don't judge a breed.

Very cross and have written an email to owner asking for reasons?

Love to hear the campsite owner's reply.

How infuriating!!! It's their right to say no dogs but breed specific discrimination is disgusting, can't wait to hear their reply!!!

PMSL and i know i shouldnt but mastiff.... lol now they are showing there ignorance to the full. while all the dogs mentiond are great when brought up correctly mastiffs need about 10 mins walk a day and will sleep upside down on a washing line if need be... they are big dogs and are one of the most ancient of breeds, used as dogs of war by the romans but and a big but they are probably one of the best of the big dogs around for bite inhibition as they were bred to floor and hold prey not bite it. as for pit bull wtf? anyone that is prepared to say that they have a pit in the uk must have an court excempt dog which means that whatever the temprament it will be muzzled and leaded while out in public at all times or face being put down.
im half tempted to send em an email myself giving them a few pointers on dogs and that an irish wolf hound brought up wrong would prob eat everything in the site...oh no they havent banned that have they...

Thats a disgrace! Can I ask which one it is? As we now have a caravan, and are caravan club members, so far sites I have looked at just say either dog friendly or no dogs allowed, havent come across certain breeds banned yet! I would email and ask for reasons. Its not on!

Idiots, they don't deserve your custom (or money!)  

I cant remember the name, will get it and name and shame. Had no reply from the owners as of yet, very strange, will I ever get a reply. No they don't deserve our custom. Will get Edwina Curry to write a letter to them, my husband met her on their walk yesterday and she said that Tash was the most beautiful well behaved pup she had ever seen.

Breed restrictions make me furious! We have them here at the apartment complex we live in. All breeds of dogs can become aggressive if they are not treated right by their human owners. It's so unfair that entire breeds are restricted/ banned.. unfortunately the few irresponsible dog owners ruin it for everyone else
