strange noises and cough

hi all just seein if anyone has had any issues.
my 11 month old staffie pup has started making strange noises and coughin it isnt all the time and we are booked in to see the vet in a week to see what they say but am not sure what to expect, any therorys would much be appreciated x

it is mainly when she is excited and messin around on the floor that she makes the noises, she is a slim staff so didnt think it could be her weight

Kennel cough would be my first guess. It is also contagious to other dogs, can you bring the vets appointment earlier?

she has had her vaccination against that so didnt think it could be that x

They can still catch it, maybe its not but just a thought Xx

Dogs can get all sorts they can have breathing problems like us asthma etc does she seem in distress when its happening is it slowing her down or is she still very active? My vet has told me that they have seen a huge increase this year in dog allergies like hayfever in us that can make dogs cough and weezy my skye was put on piriton for an allergy.
But your vet will be able too tell you, if she is poorly with this cough maybe move the appointment forward. let us know how you go x

Vac or not it can be cought. It's like human colds/flues that have different strains and if it is different than the one in the vac, she would still get it. Call the advice nurse.

shes not in distress and it dont seem to bother her at all it just seemed very strange how she just started it she doesnt see to be coughin any more its more the breathing, its like the noise a big staffie makes when aid on there back for to long if you know what i mean but she will be sniffin or lickin

is she coughing anything up?

she could have a blockage somewhere.
