Strange Rocky Noises

I had a bit of a suprise last night as Rocky was sitting on my lap for his usual nightly fuss, as he does love his cuddles on my lap. ><

We had the backdoor open and it was just dark at about 8.30pm. Off in the distance we could hear a police car with the siren sounding. It must have been about 3 miles away or so.

Rocky had been lying down curled up on my lap when he just sat up and stretched his head up and gave a mighty howl, it sets the hairs on the back of my neck up on end. It sounded wonderful, I love wolves and would love to go and hear them howling but dont need to now. When he finished he looked so pleased with himself and just kind of shrugged and stayed sat on my lap.

There was no way we could have recorded it, we just didnt know he was going to do it. It was great, hope it does it again sometime. It was so exciting and funny

Moo did it once in her sleep, it scared the living sh*t out of me and she woke herself up, lasted a few seconds! Crazy things! Xx

It's very easy to look back and laugh

Soda, who I had on foster, decided to randomly howl on the last day I had him.
I've no idea what sparked him off.
His howl was as squeaky as his bark though.

Always full of surprises

Maisey always gets really excited when I get home from work and then runs into the dining room and barks at the side board which houses the treats. Just lately, her bark has progressed to a howl - I just laugh at her and call her a mouthy little bugger. She wags her tail and runs into the lounge to enjoy her treat
