making strange noises when i take my dog out for walks

Hi, is hoping there is someone out there that can help me with my dog, everytime i take her out for walks she makes this strange screaming noise from the moment we are out until we come home.
not sure what to do .
any advice please, many thanks.

How old is she & how long have you had her? What sort of collar & lead do you use? Has she always done this, or has it just started?

If you can video it, it would be really helpful.

we have had ruby 5 yrs, she is 7yrs old, we are now using a harness.
ruby has always made the noise ,

In that case it's probably just a habit. Not an easy one to stop, either I would have thought. Have you tried taking treats with you? Or a squeeky toy to distract her?

Any chance you could post a video - one from your phone would be good.

If she has been doing this for years, like Caryll said it will be a difficult habbit to break. Interested in seeing the video and what tips you may get

It may be over excitment eagerness, does she pull while she is doing it? how often do you exercise her is she tired by the end of walks?. My sisters dog done this for quite a while one thing tha snapped him out of it was getting more exercise he couldn't make the noise if he was panting.
