collar rubbing Empty collar rubbing

on our dog alfie, the collar has rubbed his fur on his chest, and made it sore, we tried a harness but he pulls so much, what do you think we should do

we are using a training half collar and a short lead, we tried a harness but didnt get on with it as he really pullled

No collar or harness will stop a dog pulling, only training will do that!

Please read the replies to your other thread for hints on how to control this.

Caryll is right, you need to train your dog not pull.

Could you use a headcollar or a 'non pull' harness for the time being whilst you're training him to walk to heel?
