Phantom pregnancies are fairly common, but you may want to have her checked out by a vet, just to make sure she didn't get up to anything when your back was turned. They can be VERY determined to be impregnated! Good luck, let us know how it goes.

I really would get her checked out. Even though you did everything you could, if they were that determined, they could have found a way. If I was in your shoes, I would definitely take her to a vet to be checked for a pregnancy.

Yes you can terminate the pregnancy. Just book her in, try not to worry about it between now and then and just see what happens. If it turns out that she is pregnant, your vet will advise you on the best course of action. Please keep us updated. Good luck.

If she is pregnant then book her in to be spayed at the same time the pups are cleaned out....by far the sensibilist thing to do!

What blaze said. I think termination is quite disruptive to a dog so the chances are you would need to spay at the same time anyway. I wouldn't risk the pups being born as that amount of inbreeding would be really bad for them.

Lets hope its a negative test!

Yes, it's much easier & safer to spay at the same time.
