Re: Mobile phone
I'd like to say I can imagine, but my phone barely rings anyway
400 numbers! I've got about 40, and I don't use them!! I doubt there is much you can do now. At least if you've lost your right arm you can relax a bit Xx

Re: Mobile phone
Hi Marty
Post the model number of the phone, and whether you had a memory card installed here. I will look into it for you.
Don't try adding anything such as contacts until you have exhausted all possibilities. It will overwrite any data there that is recoverable.

Unfortunately when any electronic item is sent for service, they usually return them to factory settings

Re: Mobile phone
Hi Marty, My hubby found this out. He is a bit of a techy with things like this but no expert
There are a couple of steps required to upload pictures.
If you have had a reset done on your phone, the motoblur account will need to be re-entered.
Instructions for setting an existing account (assuming you can remember the details) are here:
https://motorola-global-en-uk.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/43974
Look at step 2.
The support forums are here:
https://supportforums.motorola.com/index.jspa
Phone support is here:
http://www.motorola.com/Support/GB-EN/Consumer-Support/Mobile-Phones/DEFY_with_MOTOBLUR_GB-EN
As for the contacts, it may be possible to retrieve them with data recovery software and a USB sim card reader, but take a look at the motorola site to see if any of the data would have been synchronised with your account anywhere first.
Stop press............... He just found that your account is with google sync, so when you re enter the details, you may well get the contacts back.
Look at https://motorola-global-en-uk.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/55503/related/1 Hope this helps

Re: Mobile phone
Have you talked with the phone company to see if they can recover the data? They usually can.
